However, this type of adhesive is easier to pull off. As the adhesive isn’t too strong you are able to remove the film when it gets vandalised. It comes off without leaving hardly any residue on the glass. So when the film gets scratches on it you can peel it off and replace it. This is a lot cheaper than buying new glass.

Features of the glass protection tint

As mentioned in the previous paragraph the tint is 175 microns thick. But there are a few more features which you should know. The product is optically clear so you can’t even notice it once it is on the glass. As it is clear your income of natural light doesn’t change at all. Therefore the room with this on the glass will remain nice and bright.

I mentioned the glue that keeps it on the window. Well the tint is self-adhesive so there’s no worry about buying the glue. It has a thin backing-liner covering it until the installation. You will need to remove it before you fit it.

But that’s not all

You can find this product often on trains, shop windows, buses, bus shelters and anywhere you find vandals. It isn’t just to protect against scratches but it is great for that. It also protects against spray paint. If some vandals spray painted something on your glass you could just remove the film and the glass would be fine.
