‘The Matrix Resurrections’: Free your mind with the first full trailer of Neo’s return
The initially trailer for the extensive-awaited sequel to the “Matrix” trilogy has arrived and almost certainly poses additional inquiries than it truly solutions.
The entire trailer was produced following an imaginative and unbelievably very well made teaser marketing campaign on whatisthematrix.com, in which teaser clips, with a bit distinctive footage, where accessible to enjoy – a staggering 180,000 distinct combos in whole – along with a pretty neat matrix code-fashion clock feature.
The initial “Matrix” film reset the benchmarks of particular effects in sci-fi movies back in 1999 and the two sequels, “Reloaded” and “Revolutions” equally produced four a long time afterwards, likewise redefined the benchmark for visual results.
Even so, the tale appeared to be concluded in the closing installment of the original trilogy, “Matrix Revolutions,” tying up the tale that focused on Neo (Keanu Reeves), Trinity (Carrie Anne-Moss) and Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne) with Neo defeating the Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving) virus that threatened the Architect AI and so finally ensuing in peace with the devices. So “Resurrection” appears like an appropriate title.
Lana Wachowski writes and directs the new installment, with her sister and extended-time collaborator, Lilly, sitting this a single out. Even though Keanu Reeves and Carrie Anne-Moss return, Laurence Fishburne and Hugo Weaving do not. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Jessica Henwick, Jonathan Groff, Christina Ricci and Neil Patrick Harris spherical off the solid with Lambert Wilson returning as Merovingian and Jada Pinkett Smith as Niobe. Principal images took location on place in San Francisco and Berlin.
The trailer exhibits lots of scenes that truly feel familiar and surface to be reminiscent of scenes from the first movies, which include illustrations or photos of what seems like Neo staying repaired by the machines, a black cat, white rabbit, plus guns a lot of guns.
You can find also a whole lot of emphasis on the pink and blue products, with them showing prominently in the movie’s official poster, with the tag line becoming “The choice is yours.” A single idea that’s staying floated on social media is that two
versions of the film may well be available to observe, dependent on which pill you would take, with just about every 1 featuring a marginally distinct story and ending.
“The Matrix Resurrections” releases at the same time in theaters throughout the US and on HBO Max on December 22, 2021.
