“My identify is Reid Calvert. I’m a multimedia artist from Texas living in Los Angeles and I wanted to share with you a sequence I just concluded entitled ‘Softly Spoken, Seat Belts Unbuckled’.

I started off this project previous summer time right after understanding about my mate, Dani Loftus’ digital fashion company referred to as ‘This Outfit Does Not Exist‘. I was curious to see what would come about if I shot every little thing with the movie formats that I use in my follow with a digital approach to fashion.

I 1st worked with my buddy Patrick Carroll, an artist based in LA who works by using handknit cashmere clothes as a canvas for his poetry for the apparel on the products pre-digitized. I was then related to Regina Turbina and Z.X. Studio by Dani to gown the models in digital garments by a variety of designers. Regina Turbina is a digital fashion designer who founded the digital fashion platforms, Artisant and Replicant.
