When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, the future of live music performances felt uncertain. But now, as restrictions have lightened up and national tours are rescheduled, artists and fans have gotten back to a sense of normalcy when it comes to entertainment.

Concert tours and festivals that have taken a hiatus because of the pandemic are returning in 2022 with high-profile performances and summer-long residencies. From mega-festivals like Lollapalooza to national tours from Lady Gaga, the Weeknd and Shawn Mendes, there is no shortage of entertainment to enjoy this summer. Here are the concerts to get tickets for during summer 2022.

Rescheduled from 2020, Justin Bieber’s world tour – “Justice” – is coming in summer 2022. The tour will hit multiple cities from now until July, playing in New York, Detroit, Boston, Buffalo, Chicago, Houston, Philadelphia and Las Vegas. VividSeats has tickets for all tour dates ranging from $197 to $1,100 depending on the section of seating. StubHub has tickets to the full tour as well and the price average for tickets are $200 to $3,000. The more expensive tickets are located on the floor of the stadiums and performance venues.

“All of Me” singer John Legend is stationed in Nevada for his “Love in Las Vegas” residency. StubHub sells tickets to the performances – going on from April 22 to October 29 – starting at $72. VividSeats is selling tickets starting at $79.

New Kids on the Block are going on a nostalgic tour for fans that have been with them since the beginning. New Kids on the Block will be joined on their “Mixtape” tour by special guests Salt-N-Pepa, Rick Astley and En Vogue. The tour will hit cities such as Hershey, Penn., Atlantic City and Philadelphia. StubHub sells tickets from $60 to $700 depending on the seating section. VividSeats offers tickets from $60 to $600.

The Jonas Brothers will have a limited residency in Las Vegas this summer, and tickets are available now. From June 3 to June 11, the “Lovebug” singers will take over Dolby Live at Park MGM. VividSeats has tickets for $70 to $800 depending on the seating section chosen. StubHub has tickets from $74 to $650.

Backstreet Boys are back on tour. Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean and cousins Brian Littrell and Kevin Richardson make up the 90′s boy band that are still touring the country together. The “DNA” tour will go from June 4 to Sept. 14. StubHub has tickets from $90 and above. VividSeats has tickets for $55 and above.

CMA Music Festival is taking place at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville from June 9-12. The lineup of the festival has not officially been announced and the festival was rescheduled from 2020. There are tickets for the country music fest available on StubHub from $250 to $400. VividSeats has tickets ranging from $260 to $500.

Governors Ball Music Festival takes place at Citi Field in New York from June 10-12. The lineup is different for each day of the festival. Some of the most popular performers include J.Cole, Halsey, Jack Harlow, Kid Cudi, Glass Animals, Migos, Becky G, Tove Lo and Aly & AJ. StubHub sells one-day general admission tickets, and three-day bundles that range from $170-$349. VividSeats has general admission tickets from $299 and above, VIP general admission tickets from $851.

“Summer of Love” singer Shawn Mendes is going on tour this summer from June 27 to Oct. 26 and tickets are on sale right now. Alongside Mendes, Tate McRae will be the opening performer on the “Wonder” world tour. The tour is stopping in Portland; Brooklyn, N.Y.; Seattle and Sacramento. StubHub is selling tour tickets starting at $72, and VividSeats tickets starting at $50.

Essence Music Festival takes place at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans from July 1 to July 3. The festival, positioning itself as the “biggest celebration of all things Black and beautiful,” will bring to the stage Nicki Minaj, Janet Jackson, Jazmine Sullivan, New Edition, Summer Walker, The Roots & Friends, Isley Brothers, D-Nice & Friends and Kevin Hart. StubHub has three-day passes priced from $302-$2,000 and sells individual day tickets as well (priced at $94 and more). VividSeats sells individual day tickets ranging from $86 to $394.

Usher will be turning it up at Dolby Live at Park MGM this summer. Introducing his residency in Las Vegas, Usher will be performing from July 15 to August 27. VividSeats has tickets to the tours starting at $131.

Lollapalooza is a mega-festival of music, July 28-31 in Chicago. This year, some of the highlighted talent include Metallica, Dua Lipa, J. Cole, Doja Cat and Machine Gun Kelly. StubHub sells four day passes to the concert, along with VIP packages. Tickets for each day are priced from a range of $175-$195 on StubHub and $320 for general admission, $893 for general admission plus that includes access to premium bathrooms and shaded areas on VividSeats.

From July 8 to Sept. 4, OneRepublic will be going on tour with artists NEEDTOBREATHE. The cities on this year’s tour are Holmdel, N.J.; Cincinnati and Nashville. StubHub sells tickets starting at $40 and VividSeats sells tickets starting at $28.

Lady Gaga is going on the Chromatica Ball Tour this summer, stopping at cities like East Rutherford in New Jersey and Las Vegas. Other cities included on her tour are Boston, Chicago, Washington DC, Atlanta and Los Angeles. Tickets on StubHub range from $84 to $850, depending on packages and sections of seating selection. VividSeats sells tickets to the stadium tour from $80 to $500 depending on the seating area.

Alicia Keys is going on tour from Aug. 2 to Sept. 24 around the globe. The tour will hit the cities of Boston, Philadelphia, Boston, New York, Chicago, Denver and Kansas City. StubHub sells tickets starting at $130, VividSeats sells tickets starting at $143.

The Weeknd is going on tour this summer, from April 15 to Sept. 3. The “Starboy” singer will visit cities like Chicago, Detroit, Las Vegas and Seattle. VividSeats has tickets to the tour starting at $68.
